April Meeting Announcement

April's meeting will be held at Joe's Cycle Shop. April 12th @ 7:00pm Joe will supply pizzas and pop. You supply the beer. I have this posted on the main page, along with a map. Thank you for all your support.

Remember a group is made with all your help support. Not just one persons desire to keep a group active and alive. Help spread the word. Tell your friends.

A couple of things.....
1) Anyone interested in riding down to Hawks Nest and New River Gorge in West Virginia this summer......Brian and I rode down there last year and really enjoyed it. It did make for a very long day riding down and coming back on the same day. It might be a good idea to make this an overnight trip. If you are interested in going, be thinking about a date and we can talk about it at the meeting.
2) A couple of pack members have expressed an interest in doing an "Iron Butt" ride this year. I will bring some literature and copies of my trip logs to the meeting. Maybe after the meeting is over those who are interestd can get with me and discuss dates for that and I'll be more than happy to share what I've learned on my Iron Butt rides.

I'm looking forward to the meeting. I hope the weather cooperates. My oldest boy is looking forward to riding his own bike to a pack meeting for the first time.

Holy crap, what a miserable evening. For those that didn't hear me mention it after the meeting (arrived at 7:50pm), I ran out of gas on the way there and had to push my MZ Baghira, uphill (I coasted off the highway and down an exit ramp), a 1/2-mile to the the nearest station. 1/2-mile does seem that long, but it is. It sucked. I'm such a rookie.
